I was released from work two months ago due to work restrictions because of my back. I was placed on STD and have been in chiropractic care, physical therapy and received an epidural injection, and then oral steroids and pain meds. Nothing is working and I can barely walk and am in incredible pain. I don't know when I can return to work, even if I can, I can't sit or stand for any length of time. My 12 weeks of STD are up and I am trying to start the case for LTD to be open. I am losing alot of money by only being paid 60% and then copay's make this amount even less. I am worried about losing my home if I can't make payments.
I am wondering if I can qualify for Disability while waiting for LTD, or if I can collect both if I am approved.
