Briefly im a 100% disabled Veteran, first hearing was turned down, appeals council turned down but won a remand in federal court so just had 2nd hearing few days ago but I am so confused and don't understand what happened. Went in and alj ask some basic confirmation questions and update questions since last hearing then let my lawyer speak and then in a matter of 5 mins or less total after my lawyer spoke the judge said that he did not need to speak to the vocational expert and that were done and will send me decision in cpl weeks and in a blink of an eye it was over. What the crap, what happened, why did he not need to hear from the vc expert, why didn't he get into detail about my case, is this good or bad I feel like my case was not even heard, lawyer says he thinks I'm approved but I'm worried, any opinions comments advice anything plz

Hi There,

I am sorry to hear that. I don't know why they didn't need to hear fro the VC expert. I will say though, that having an attorney greatly improves your chances of winning your claim. Best of luck.

Is anyone from the Albany NY area? If so, how long did u have to wait for a hearing from the date u requested a hearing? Also, I filed for an On The Record Review. Has Anyone done this in Albany NY area? If so how long did it take to get a decision?
