Essential Tremor-Do I Qualify?

I would like to know if, having Essential Tremor, would now qualify me for SSD? I am almost 50, recently unemployed, and it's not getting better. I have had tremors my whole life, but never "officially" diagnosed, due to lack of $/insurance to see a Neurologist. However, I am certain this is exactly the name for this health issue!My tremors have gotten worse as I've gotten older. Some days it is virtually impossible to do anything manually, nor hold anything safely. Please let me know if I have a chance at applying/gaining SSD? Thank you.- Leslie K., NY
