MY 35 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HAS HAD TYPE 1 DIABETES AND HAS HAD SINCE AROUND 12YOA. SHE HAS NEVER BEEN ABLE TO GET IT UNDER CONTROL. SHE HAS BEEN IN SEVERAL HOSPITALS OVER THE YEARS AND THEY INITIALLY SAY THEY CAN GET IT UNDER CONTROL BUT AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME RELEASE HER BECAUSE THEY CANNOT GET IT UNDER CONTROL. WE WERE ALSO TOLD BECAUSE OF NOT BEING ABLE TO CONTROL IT SHE WOULD SUFFER FROM BRAIN DAMAGE. THE EFFECTS OF THE DAMAGE ARE BECOMING MORE APPARENT NOW. SHE IS SOMETIMES CONFUSED, UNABLE TO MAKE A DECISION ETC. SHE HAS APPLIED BUT WITH HER DIMINISHED MENTAL CAPACITY DOES NOT PRESENT A VERY FOOD "CASE" AND HAS BEEN DENIED. WE ARE JUST FRUSTRATED. CAN YOU HELP US.
