If my PERS benefits ran out and I was refunded the account balance will it affect SSI? I am disabled and the refund from PERS I had to use to payback a loan I had with my son.

It may as SSI benefits are based on income.
My son was reviving survivor benefits and stopped when he was in states custody for a year.
He has since returned home and custody has been returned to me.
He just received a payment for September and we are curious if he will receive his payments from when he was in states custody....
We have settled the payment with the recovery service office

He may not have been eligible as SSI benefits for children are dependent on household income.
It's been almost a year that I haven't received my back pay from SSIowe g r close to 10,000 and my attorney which is 25% of the lump sum neither of them received any Financial what to do and why haven't they received received Financial what can I do I've called you numerous times their feedback was that I would receive my back pay but there's a question mark as to when to receive it now I would like to know what can I do to speed up the process I appreciate your time on this matter thank you respectfully

I am sorry to hear that. If it doesn't come on Monday, I would call the SSA first thing Tuesday morning.
My sons father receives Ssdi and was claiming him as a dependent. The SSA found that he owes that $ to my son (beneficiary) since I am his sole care giver and the funds should have stayed with him, not his father. Will my son ever receive those benefits? It’s close to 9k

Just to be sure, I would recommend speaking to a SSA representative regarding that.
If I'm homeless and I live in my car and my car is broken, I also have a back payment of 23,000.00 can social security help me buy another vehicle.

Hi Gary,
You may be able to use some of your Social Security benefits to help buy a car, but I would recommend speaking to a SSA representative first just to be safe.
