Marfan syndrome

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

I have Marfan syndrome and suffered an aortic dissection of the descending aorta, 1st and 2nd layers. My doctor said no work, stress or worry. They have not been able to fix all of my dissection and I have to keep my blood pressure 110 or below. Should that qualify me for social security disability? I am 59.

Undiagnosed condition for numerous physical problems

My husband has been to a neurologist because he has lost feeling in his lower body (from midchest to feet). He also cannot walk without crutches as the muscles in his legs have atrophied and his right knee is bad (orthopedist says he needs a knee replacement). In addition, he has lost feeling in his fingertips and parts of his face. He also has head tremors and cannot focus his eyes to read. The neurologist doesn't know what is causing it: thus, he has no specific diagnosis.
