I stopped my payments for a contract job and now that I'm trying to restart them I'm being asked for "pay slips" retroactively. Well, there are no pay slips because I was never employed. All I have is an email and I don't think they deal with emails. I don't know how to proceed. Work ended first week of June and I'm broke again.
I also lost my Eugene office number. Does anyone have it? Without that I'll burn through my minutes in no time trying to get through the national system (which is the only one listed).

I would find a contact number for the company that you had contracted with, and they would be able to confirm that you had a work history with them, but stopped working in June. You can find a listing of local SSA offices here:
