I really could not say, it may be a good idea to contact the SSA regarding this, they would have the full information about his account and can help you find out why the deposit has not come.

I really could not say as every case is different, but the SSA may be placing a priority on sending you that check.
Hello my daughter is new to SSI benefits and now is reviving monthly sniffs. I recently turned in all account info to our local office, because she needed a dedicated account for back pay. Although she hasn't recieved any money yet. How long is the waiting process? Can I sped things up?

Back pay generally comes in installments four months after you start to receive monthly benefits.

The SSA is typically one month behind, so you will receive your November payment in December.

Hi there,
It may take more than a week for them to have your updated account information. Because of this, it may be a good idea to make sure that the bank account you used before changing that information is not closed until you see the money arrive in your new account.
