Do I Qualify?

I have degenitive bone disease and copd i use crutches to get about am i. legable for a disability car as i find it pain to walk using my crutches

I am 100 deaf in my left ear and have less than 40% in my right but have overcome my disability my whole life but now have osteoarthritis that is limiting my physical ability to work. I have not collected nor applied any disability for my hearing. Will I be penalized for mot applying sooner for my hearing and be rejected because I have been working but my employers may or may not know of my impairment?

I have struggled with a very brittle Type 1 insulin dependent diabetes for more than 30 years, which has caused many, many times, in a severe state of hypoglycemia. Years of poor circulation has cause an ever increasing case of perifrial diabetic neuropathy. This condition creates a lack of motion with extreme pain in both feet.
My condition creates a great sadness in me, most especially after an hypoglycemic episode, and in addition to great emotion, my blood sugar levels are constantly swinging between hyperglycemia and episodes of low blood sugar, which blood sugar swings makes it difficult, even impossible to work on a full time basis.

I am 56 years old and have worked for a motion picture studio for 16 years and I have a 40 year work history in the entertainment business. I was diagnosed with Osteoartritis in 2008 and had a knee replacement in 2009. I became unable to walk with my left hip due to lack of movement and alot of pain in 2015. I also have Hypertension 200/110. I do not have alot of medical documents so SSA sent me to a Orthopedic Surgeon for a CE. I have heard bad stories about these exams but this doctor was great. Not only did he comfirm my hip issue as severe but my right thumb as well. The BP above was taken at his office (twice). In the end he seemed to see all my issues and went so far as to order me a walker because he thought I was to unstable on my cane alone. I am hoping these are good signs. What do you think my chances are of being approved. Thanks for your time.

Hi i got a bad back i got two detered disc and anxiety depression and internal himroids can i get ssi ive work on and off 25 years most my jobs i did alot heavy lifthing i was in spicily ed in scoll i did draw ssi one time i got cut off i missed a ssi apomint thay cut me off

I am in fmla due to health issues, I had head surgery five years ago to hollow out two vertebra to set my brain stern where it needs to be and a to place something to hold my brain in place, I have headaches every day, dizzy spells, I forget things and have issues with my speech. Do I qualify for help

I have worked for the last thirteen years as a nyc department of education paraprofessional (teaching assistant). I am 57-1/2 years old. In the last two years i have developed high blood pressure, diabetes stage 2, irritable bowel syndrome, very painful fibromyalgia, major depressive disorder, three sleep disorders--sleep apnea, idiopathic hyper somnia (I can literally sleep 17 hours out of 24, so I am always exhausted) and narcolepsy. I have been to every kind of doctor and I take the highest dosage of stimulants to stay awake. I also have cervical and lumbar radiculopathy stenosis and debilatating arthritis (I cannot stand for longer than a few minutes and I pulled out my leg and fell in April while walking upstairs in my home). I have had sevetal procedures but nothing worked and iam not a candidate for surgery. I cannot take any medications for my pain or muscle relaxers because they counteract my medications to stay awake. I also have asthma so when I developed 4 respiratory infections this year the asthma made my recovery time alot longer. I have been working this whole time with all my pain which has been beyond difficult. But I cannot do it anymore but I am terrified if I apply for social security disability I will be declined and the appeal can take up to 3 yrs. I will only receive health care and very little money on short term disability for only one year. Also, I can apply for disability retirement pension which is also very hard to get. Iam a single parent to a 19 year old son who is pursing a full time union construction or electrical job which could take years unless you know someone. In the meantime he works in a supermarket at minimum wage. Do I qualify and how long do you think it may take?

I'm 43 have hadone a stroke have peripheral nerve pain I am diabetic high blood pressure and fibro myalgia. I cannot function without some type of painkiller in my body it's excruciatingto work but I must I have no support system. Is there a chance i could get ssi?

I am 51 yrs old female with arthritis in my left hip that has now gotten so bad that I can't walk or limp without being in pain and arthritis in my right hand thumb and partial wrist.. I am right handed and do office work. I can't sit or stand long. I need surgery for hip replacement. I have worked since I was 15 yrs old

I have always worked up until March of this year due to stress and back issues got worse. I don't drink. I have bleeding ulcers . I have worked in an industry doing manual labor for the past 13 years. My back isn't getting any better. I was just told I have degenerating disc in my l1-l2 - l3- l-4. And l-5. . I also have carpol tunnel in left hand. Back and leg pains. Would I qualify for dis ability. Been working since I was 14 and now 45.
