If it says closed then they most likely made a decision on your case. You should get a letter in the mail stating the decision. If you had a lawyer, they are told the decision before you so I would contact them. Good luck!
A Decision Has Been Made On Your Benefit Application
Your claim for Disability benefits has been processed. A notice has been sent to you with a detailed explanation of the decision.
If you disagree with the decision, you may request an appeal within 60 days of the date on the "Notice of Decision" you receive. Do this mean I got denied
It does not mean either approved or denied. It just means they made a decision. You should be receiving a letter soon in the mail stating the decision. If you had a lawyer, they usually find out the decision before you, so you can try contacting him/her. Good luck!
My claim status says “A Decision Has Been Made On Your Appeal
Your claim for Disability benefits has been processed. A notice has been sent to you with a detailed explanation of the decision.” Is this an approval or denial?
Received 2 denial letters from Social Security disability. What does it mean when a medical decision has been made and we are working to process your benefit application a social security representative may contact you directly if we need any additional documents or information and also says benefit application under review
I check my status every day, it now says a medical descion has been made, and we are working to process decision... Is that good bad?? Another few weeks??
A decision has been made, but my case was pulled by the review board to double check the examiners decision. Don't know if the decision is medical approval or denial. Is this a good sign?
It doesn't mean you were approved or denied. However, there must have been something in that examiner's decision that they want to review again to be absolutely sure. Wishing you nothing but the best.
Hello, when checking on my claim it states that a decision has been made and Your claim for Disability benefits has been processed. A notice has been sent to you with a detailed explanation of the decision. What does that mean has it been approved or not. It also gives me a break down of how much I would receive if I became disabled for me and family; information that was not available in the website before. Please advise. Thank you.
