Hi There,
That depends on if he meets the Blue Book listing for Autism (ssa.gov/disability/professionals/bluebook/12.00-MentalDisorders-Adult.htm#12_10). You can review it with his doctor to see if he will medically qualify. It's likely he'll meet the technical qualifications for SSI since he is over 21 and does not work.
