Qualifying children

2 of my boys are from my longest relationship- 16 years but never married. Their dad was killed in 2014... I started receiving survivor benefits... Not very much 290. A child .... I filed for Disabilty in 2014 also. I had to work through my Disabilty because I had to support my kids so social security said I wasn't found disabled until 2016-- because I worked.. Well I have 2 other children.. When I was approved I received ssi for 4 months around 400$ a month now my benefits start and ssi stops. They said all my kids put on my Disabilty and now they won't receive survivor benefits from their dad any longer --- no back pay- no back pay for kids??? Are they to the penny or should I get a lawyer

I applied for SSDI and SSI due to ptsd and anxiety. I applied and was awarded for the onset date of oct2013 i was awarded filly favorable. But they will reciew my case again in june2018. My ? Is my daighter lived with her father i paid child suppint until she was 18 she tirned 1i on feb 2016. When i applied they asked if i had any minor children. I told them yes now they are sayong my child who was 15 at the time in now in the military and we havent spoken in 2 years due to her and her father harrassing me which made my issues worse . They live in another state in ga i live in MD. They told me backpay would go to her . But they cant tell me how much and her dad lost his job due to drug problems. Why are they allowing. Her to receive. Benefits when i paid. Every month of child support?they both continue still continue To harrass me causing anxiety. Why should they get anything if she is still causing the harrasment. Its as though i am paying her to keep sending hateful emails and harrassing me. I paid my child support in full. That case has been closed. What do i do? Ssa wont tell me how much she is going to be receiemailsIt sickens me to know i have to give my hard earned. Money that i used to work for to people who keeps me in this state of panic and chaos. Please help? My backlay totaled 20,392 after attorneys fees and the state took their mmoneyof 5,180 and my attorney. Took her 5,390 what am i left with? My check is only 804?

My husband is awaiting a hearing to appeal his denial of SSDI benefits for mental illness. He has been diagnosed as schizophrenic over 25 years ago but had been able to work full time up until last year when he was hospitalized due to decompensation. We applied for SSDI in April of 2015, denied in Oct of 2015, and filed an appeal in Nov of 2015. Our son was 16 when he originally applied for SSDI. He will be 18 in 2017. He was listed on my husbands application. If my husband is approved for SSDI and gets a lump sum payment, will our son get a lump sum payment as well?

I have a question......I had a child with a married man 7 years ago yesterday. About 3 years ago he was shot & thankfully survived but he's now paralyzed & on disability. He has 3 other children that live in the house with him that I'm pretty sure are reaping from the benefits while my outside child suffers. Is it possible for him 2 receive benefits including back pay even if I have recently moved to another state?

I have hired an attorney for divorce. I am on disability. I gave SSA my daughter's information and addresses of her mother's family (I wasn't sure where she had gone), so that my ex could receive payments for my daughter. I assumed she was receiving those benefits. I recently was told that letters were sent, but my ex never went to get the benefits started. I need proof of this for my attorney (that SSA attempted contact, etc). How can my attorney or I get this information?
