Back pay installments are generally paid out every six months.

You may want to contact the SSA with documentation of your need for those benefits, they may be able to expedite them.
I just got my second installment of my back pay and had to use it to fix my car. I'm homeless and live in my car. I put in a request for an advancement of $7000 so I can buy an RV to live in. The official told me it would take 30 days but my last advancement of $9000 only took two weeks. Why longer now

It may take more time for many reasons, as every case is different, and they may want to take more time with that decision.
I received my approval letter for deceased parent payments for my two children the first deposit was suppose to be Nov 26 which is a Saturday and my bank isn't showing the deposit. Do I contact social security? Or will it post on Monday?

If you're approved, you should not have to interview with the SSA again.

SSI lump sum back pay is generally divided into three payments of up to $2000, so you may get one lump sum payment of $2000 and one of $100 six months later.

It generally takes some time for the SSA to process new payment info, so it sometimes may stay unreleased. You may want to contact the SSA regarding this, you can get in touch with them at 1-800-772-1213.
