You're correct! Another consideration will be the household income! Children are only eligible for SSI, so if the household income exceeds the limit for their household then they will not qualify. The income limit varies for single parents and number of children in the home.
I was hurt in a car wreck 4-12-18 my c-spine and left arm, i was able to work light duty a month latter and after a few weeks of being back at work I had an object fall from 20 feet in the air and hit me in my c -spine where I was already hurt from the car wreck. well the whole time in between healing and work I've been being investigated for the wreck and also form being hurt from the job. was in another car wreck and totaled my Tahoe witch made me lose another job , and the whole time being followed everywhere I go, on top of it being hacked and someone messing with me on my phone and CPU , has all my info my main email !! Then believe the people who hacked us also called DSS and I've been being investigated from them and can't even go outside somedays from it. Also I have developed tinnitus and hear ringing , heart beat , and sometimes voices but with PTSD and the investigations and losing my three boys being hacked stressed out to the max I may be losing my hearing from the tinnitus. I don't have a job and can't get one from all this and I just don't know what to do !!!
One of the conditions you are experiencing may qualify for disability benefits. I would look over the SSA's Blue Book with your doctor to see if you qualify for benefits.
Do I have a good chance of receiving disability benefits? I have nerve damage in my back causing pain to run down my legs.i also have carpal tunnel syndrome and knots on my wrists causing my fingers to lock up
It's possible to receive disability benefits for the conditions you mentioned, since Carpal Tunnel Syndrome isn't an official listing in the SSA's Blue Book, you may have to meet the requirements of another listing or qualify through medical vocational allowance.
