I just "won" my disability case for SSI. I received my award letter but there is no mention on if the attorney fees have been taken out yet. Does the amount reflect my back pay after or before lawyer fees?
Also, because I went into appeal, I think I owe him more money. Does anyone know a ballpark figure as to how much more than the normal $6000? I waited 50 months, and about 18 months after my first no decision, before the one appeal was successful.
And why does my award letter say improvement expected when I have rheumatoid arthritis? This will only get worse, and instead of the five-seven year review, I have one in 3 years.
