A disabled friend owns a house but has to temporarily move to a different state to get treatment for a rare condition.
If she tries to relocate to that state, does she necessarily lose her SSI because of her house? Also. she wants to know if she will still be able to keep her Medicaid or will her vacant house disqualify her while
she is temporarily relocated?
What if she was to rent out her house where she could qualify for the right to work where she could keep her Medicaid?
How else is she supposed to get medical treatment for her rare condition?
Are there any free advocates or someone who can help her navigate the system?
Is there any way she can appeal?
Can she lose SSI but not Medicaid?
