I recently became my brothers payee and the last payee canceled the card it was going on so now as of October im his payee but what happens to his September ssi? if the card its going to is turned off where does it go? does he not get it?
I have been named the representative payee for my adult child. I received a check with my name for the benefit of my adult child.
With a child receiving SSI, if we sell the house we live in and then any excess money (other than money going towards what we already owe on my current home loan) but all profit/excess money from the sell is being used directly towards the new down/loan for buying a new home/new residence, will anything happen to my childs benefits/payments? what do we need to do to get this transaction/sell of one property for another okayed with SSI?
I stopped my payments for a contract job and now that I'm trying to restart them I'm being asked for "pay slips" retroactively. Well, there are no pay slips because I was never employed. All I have is an email and I don't think they deal with emails. I don't know how to proceed. Work ended first week of June and I'm broke again.

HI, My Husband and I were Married 12years ago in November ,I was receiving my full Ssi prior to being Married. Instead of just updating my case, they put us in as a Married couple. , Now My husband waa receiving SSD before me off his own record, I never had enough work credits i worked here and there but i was a stay at home Mom. My question is How can I get More money than $ 87,50 a piece how can we survive on what we are getting i was crushed in a car accudent 18years ago and i have sever panic attacks and PTSD. My stepson is receiving SSI from his father who pasted about 12yrs ago. He has been staying with me for 10yrs. And his mother (whom I'm not with anymore) doesn't give him anything. He's 17 now, is there anyway for him to receive is benefits directly. We're in Florida
Hello, I had a question about my father in law. He is currently getting disability and is getting paid 500 to take care of his daughter. He also has his two sons (19 and 22) along with one of their wives and granddaughter living with him. He wants to give guardianship to me and my husband for a better educational opportunities for his daughter. Would he stop getting his disability if he were to do that? Or stop receiving the 500 for his daughter even though he has four other kids under his care. He currently lives in VT and I live in TX.

If I accept the services of a credit counseling service, and providing my debtors are financial institutions, will my actions in any way jepordize my national or state disabilty benefits -- present, future, or pending? Not just SSI, but the other disability-related programs as well.
