Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

I was turned down for SSI by intake personel without an investigation into my income, if this were checked it would have been revealed my income is $oo.oo. Instead SSI said I made too much to qualify.

my daugher draws off of her dependant daugher. I have custody of her now, and she has been court ordered to pay the dependant money to me. how do I go about getting.

Does a person have to use up their 401k before being eligible for SSI?

After my two initial denials, I finally had a hearing in front of a judge with a vocational expert the phone. The hearing resulted in a partially favorable decision. The 18 page written explanation accompanying the decision, had numerous mistakes related to the physical injuries & a number of quotes from my 82 year old mother (who was with me and questioned) and myself. August of 2009, I was thrown from my jeep upon hitting a tree. I broke my left femur, left foot, left wrist, and severed my right foot almost completely.

IS THERE A DIFFERENCE IN WHAT WE GET ON MY HUSBANDS DISABILITY CHECK WHEN WE MOVE THERE? MORE OR LESS OR DOES IT DIFFER FROM STATE TO STATE.?

We did not receive missing SSI checks due June 3rd.

What is the difference between ssi and ssa?My brother was recieving ssi and now they switched him over to ssa and he no longer is eligable for medicare why?thank you Jenny
