Injured at work

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

I tripped over a rug at work which caused a whiplash in my neck, in addition it triggered severe back pain which caused me to not be able to function at work and I could not do my job. I worked a week, then again went to the dr. and ER, then was taken off a week due to dr. restrictions and then went back to work, tried to work for 2 weeks while getting treated by a chiropractor, and was not getting any better, felt worse, dr. told me I need to be off until further notice w/ and eval. in 4 weeks, tried short term disability and got denied, prior to that Workman's comp.

Help

I had emergency cervical spinal fusion surgery to relieve spinal cord compression on April 3, 2015.

For five months prior my legs became increasingly weak accompanied by burning and stinging making it difficult to walk and keep proper balance at times.

I was told by my neurosurgeon that the goal of the surgery was to arrest further complication but, that my symptoms may be irreversible. Presently, five months after surgery my symptoms are still just as they were pre-surgery and my condition has been officially labeled cervical spondylosis with myelopathy.

Hello and thanks for reading. I am a couple months into my application process. IMA 26 year ups driver. I have had surgery on both hands for flexor tendonitis (3 fingers each) a couple years ago, and it is getting worse with painful triggering and finger locking with osteoarthritis. Because of my lack of hand strength, I slipped off a step and I couldn't hold onto the hand hold. I roll my ankle 90 degrees, and suffered a high grade, high ankle sprain and painful tarsal tunnel as one of the results. Small tasks like picking up coins is very difficult...

My child had a tumor removed from.her nerve ( neurofibroma) during the surgery they moved around nerves. So doing so she lost the mobility in her arm. She now has to go to therapy to gain the mobility back. Until then she's unable to lift or even bathe her right side. Do you think she qualify for benefits until she gains mobility back

I am a 51 year old female with several medical conditions. I am an insulin dependent diabetic, have arthritis and calcified tendonitis in shoulder, hip and knees, I have had a pacemaker since 2011 for AV Block, I have chronic Hepatitis since 2013 (which is now better) but I have developed Cirrhosis which they say is from the diabetes and fatty liver. I work every day. However, it is getting harder and harder to make it thru a work day. I stay so tires and exhausted. I take a nap every day as soon as I get home from work. Its like I can't take another step.

Disabled after losing benefits?

I began receiving SSD in 2007 at the age of 21 due to mental health issues. Last year I was found to no longer be disabled and lost the benefits. In September I began work at a haunted house (Until Nov 1) and the first day I had a migraine. In October I started work at a grocery store and the migraines and other headaches escalated over the months. I've had to quit my job and am seeing a Dr. (I have another illness as well, PMDD, severe pms) This past year I made under the SGA amount, except October I may have been over.
