I know a man 53 who is receiving DSS. but, he has special needs. I am looking to see if there is some kind of in home help he can get, or find an advocate for him. This man is 54 weighs 110 lbs. has diabetes's, has to have his legs amputated, within the near future. A nurse comes to take blood from a port, that they say is clogged, and to have someone come to the house...it will cost $1000.00. He lives in Illinois, and I cannot believe, we can not find help for this man. Any suggestions.
Hello, I started having excessive eye squinting two years ago, which escalated to uncontrolled complete closure of the eyes. Diagnosed as Blepharospams which has been very debilitating for me. My daughter has to drive me every where and see to it that I can navigate my way around stores, appointments, etc because they can bee ok then suddenly close and I can't open them without pulling them open with my fingers. I run into things in the house, can't watch tv or be on the computer much at all and have with it, very sensitivity to light. No more yard work which I love to do.

Was beaten and hospitalized in 2009, was hospitalized in trauma center almost a month , unconcious for about first ten days , have suffered severe debilitating headaches , nose bleeds , exertion , dizzy spells , memory loss at times ,. After dismissal from hospital in 2009 , i filed for SSDI ,that claim was denied all the way thru two denials and at hearing level. at that time 60 day window lapsed and i didn't appeal . in 2012 i subsequently filed new claim , with attorney , claim was denied rather quickly first and second reconsideration .
