Hi there,
I would not be able to say, as it would depend on the reason that they had assigned you a representative payee in the first place.
I have suffered from depression and anxiety all my life, but continued to push myself to work. But this last year has been hard on me and my health,I have fainted twice because of stress at work and know am getting migraines which i have never had history of in my life. I'm currently on FMLA. I do not know if I can mentally go in to the work place again.

Hi Lisa,
You might qualify for disability benefits! It is very hard to tell for sure. You will need to prove that you've been receiving treatment from a doctor and still have not seen any improvement.
Hi. I would not try to become your own payee. That would obligate them to review your case again. And you do not want them to red flag your file. They gave you a payee for a reason.
