I got married and lose my SSI because my husband earn lots of SSDI. Then he got 50% of dependent benefits for me and my kids under his SSDI. But one of biggest problem is that my husband won't share money with me because all of dependent benefits under his name. Im stuck can't go to store myself to buy something for me and my kids because I have no money only my husband has money. I don't like when he is being greedy and control. I wonder why not SSA put all of dependent benefits under my name not under his name?? SSA need to make it fair for ALL married couples!

You may want to contact the SSA and change payees for benefits, you may be able to be assigned as your own payee.
