Upon reaching age 62, I become eligible for divorced spousal benefits (https://www.ssa.gov/planners/retire/divspouse.html)
Does this apply to SSDI benes as well, or only retirement benes?
Thanks

Hello. If you receive SSDI benefits based on your own earning’s record, your benefit will not be affected by divorce. If you are eligible for retirement benefits on your own record and divorced spouse's benefits, the SSA will pay the retirement benefit first.
