ALJ implied approval?

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

I had my appeal hearing last week and the ALJ grilled the VE and tossed any suggestions he made for SGAs, requiring no cross-examination by my atty.
Afterward, my atty stated the ALJ implied he would approve my appeal but, we need to wait a month or so for the decision letter and he didn't indicate a full/partial approval. The ALJ has a 70-74% approval history over the past 8-9 years.
Any thoughts on an "implied approval"?

Expedited Reinstatement Taking Really Long Time

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

I got off benefits in 2015, had to re-apply around May or June 2016. A lot of misinformation at first, but they said this would be under EXR, I got approved for benefits on Dec. 24th 2016, no letters though. Found out any and all info from calling main number several times. They said a few weeks ago when I called that on Jan. 27th it was sent to payment center, and it was in critical status but would be 30 to 45 more days. 30 to 45 more days for what? A letter? Payment? Still no letters from SSA.

Need documentation for son's medical insurance so we can file our taxes

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

My adult son has SSI disability. Over the course of several years, we have lost documentaion of his medial ins. (medicare/medicaid). This document is now required for our son in order to file our taxes. (he lives with us, has no outside income but receives financial payments from SSI disability). How can I or whom would I contact to get these documents. I have asked SSI and they said I go to "welfare" office, they said they couldn't give this to me... options please... Tami G. Wa.State
