Does receiving the Pell Grant considered income when a person is collecting SSDI? Will it have any effect on my monthly payments? Do I report it to Social Security Administration? If so, how?

Receiving SSD benefits can I sell my Life Insurance Policy and still receive SSD benefits. I am Stage IV Colon Cancer who receives ongoing, most likely the rest of my life, chemotherapy treatments and unable to work. Can I sell my Life Insurance policy to pay off bills and still receive SSD? Do I have to include that as income on my taxes?

My ex wife receives benefits for herself and my son. My son has decided he wants to live with me fulltime. I did not request child support from my ex through domestic relations. My ex is still receiving benefits for my son and I was told I should apply to be payee now, because the dependent benefits should follow the child. Can anyone help me with this? Is this true?

I have a situation I'm not really sure about. I was denied ssdi but approved for my LTD claim through my employer after sending them proof the ssdi was denied. Due to a 2 year limit on mental health in that policy, the LTD stopped after 2 years. Just before the end of that 2 years, I reapplied for ssdi (new case) because the condition had only worsened. Now we have obtained an attorney and FINALLY after 2 more years have a hearing coming up in a couple weeks.

I received my long form EVAL 45-BK form and mailed it 2 weeks ago.
I called up the SSA # and she didnt see it being received in the CPU.
I have it signed for.
Is it too early for them to get it? I assume there are more mails to open and finish in front of me.
Is this normal?

I receive SSDI and back in August I received a lump sum payment of $6,460 from SSA TREAS 310. I waited a month to spend it in case it was a mistake or if a letter came but no letters ever came saying if it was a back payment or if it was back pay.

Rent came due and I had to dip into the money I was sent to help pay rent, buy groceries, clothes for work, etc. I just checked my payment history and the large payment that was listed before is now gone. I have received other large back payments as well and those payments aren't in my payment history either.

we are going to be getting a divorce after 20 years of marriage. my husband is appealing for disability. am I entitled to anything? his settlement if he gets it.

Hi my disability has lasted pass 12 months but was denied for SSDI since 2 doctor'said said it should not last past 12 month but it has...will I get full favorable decision since it is now 14 months in a row with no work and been non-weight barring on right leg since 7/2016????
