Social Security Disability

Hi, a few questions:
1. While collecting SSD, will I be able to apply for Social Security under ex-spose? We were married 32 years and have been divorced for 7.
2. When my ex- spouse retires from his local union, I will, per our divorce agreement, receive 25% of his retirement.

Will any of these scenarios effect my current monthly disability?

Thank you.

Hello I'm a frustrated custodial parent to a beautiful 12 yr old daughter.her dad has only paid 155$/ month because he lied and told judge he had no gas or money for water and would you believe they fell for it and closed the entire case and only pays towards the arrears (40,000$!) I see him and his girlfriend on Facebook with a new house, car, and offering to pay anyone $$$ to help them build a new deck for their house.

Need clarification on SGA

Hello. I've been searching for an answer to clarify a question I have about Substantial Gainful Activity (SGA).
As of 2017 the SSA sets SGA as earning more than $1,170/month. Does your SSDI payments count towards the SGA amount?

For example: A person receives $801/month from SSDI. [SGA subtract SSDI] --> 1,170 (-) 801 = $369. Does it mean that the most this person can earn is up to $369 a month without becoming ineligible for SSDI and hitting the SGA limit.

Should I switch from SSI to SSDI ?

I have been permanently disabled since i was 18.
I started working part time a few years ago and in a year and a half i will have enough work credits to switch to ssdi.
The good thing about that is they stop taking money away from me based off how much i make.
What scares me though is if they base they ammount of ssdi i get a month off the amount of money i have earned, thats not going to be a lot of money.
I have to walk a tight rope where i cant earn too much or too little.
