Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

I was given a trailer and the land it is on, and am badly in need of SSI as I am not able to work. Will SSI ask me how I payed for my home and will it go against me if i say it was given to me?

how do i apply if the father had a stroke and he has benefits in ssi and he gets disability he said all i need is to go ssi and fill out the papers

My minor son receives SSI. We moved to another part of town and I tried 5 times to change our address with SSI. They kept sending checks to the old address resulting in us getting checks late. Finally after months of trying, the got the right address. They sent a letter saying they needed all paperwork from a whole year ago. Check stubs, bank statements, new lease, and etc. They sent his file to another office close by. The issue is, I turned in all of the items they are asking for throughout last year to the office that was close to our old address.

My husband was veteran of military and since passed, I am told I am qualified for his federal insurance contributions act. Chapter 21. I keep getting wrong information when I call ofiice. Also VA said i have to file thrun social security office.
