Short Term Disability

I recently was involved in an accident while working on a car. I tripped and part of the motor (the manifolds) that I was working on fell on my hand, crushing two fingers on my right hand. I was taken to St. Francis and the doctors put pins in my fingers and I am unable to work for an extended period of time--possibly ten weeks. I was unemployed at the time of my accident--I was picking up a mechanic job to get by. My question is: Is there a short term disabliity I would be eligible to apply for? I have a family and we have no source of income.

Different doctors have told me I should apply disability. I'm not sure I could qualify. I have degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, and now advance cataracts in my right eye. I was working but now I'm unemployed. Could I qualify?

Receive SS and SS Disability?

I am currently receiving SS benefits, I'm 67. I was working a full time job until I had to quit due to disability. Do I qualify to receive both SS and SS Disability?

i have aspergars syndrom but am 18. do i still qualify for ssdi?

hi, i was diagnosed with AS a few years ago but just found out i could get ssdi for it so a family member was going to help me figure out how to do it but i read up on it and was wondering if i even qualify because i am 18 :( any help? please and thank you

I have physical and legal custody of my neice. My sister receive disability due to her mental illness and I wanted to know if I would be able to collect disability for my neice? I have had her since she was 6months old.

Leg injury deep contusion caused muscle atrophy in two quadraceps. No nerve damage. PT helped one muscle regain strength.

Left leg deep contusion in thigh caused muscle atrophy in two quadraceps. No nerve damage. Nerve conduction tests were done twice several years apart. Physical therapy helped one muscle regain strength. Physical therapy done again a year later but no improvement in the strength in the muscle just above the knee and towards the inner side near the other leg when your legs are together. I am classified as 42% disabled from a functional capacity test. I have a 10 lb. weight limit while walking continuously throughout the day. A 20 lb. weight limit while standing.
