Is it possible for social security to send a denial letter to someone who got a favorable decision by the judge. What should I do?Social security send me a reconsideration application on two different times in past four months which I filled out and sent back to them and recently I got a letter from hearing office asking me why I never applied for reconsideration.after I was told that I was waiting for a new hearing by someone at social security. aren't they supposed to communicate.i thought the hearing office and the main office are one and the same
I've waited 2 years, have been denied twice and now my hearing is set for October. My doctors are all free clinics, because of that none of them will fill out my forms from my attorney! What do I do, how do I get them filled out?
My case is a little confusing so bare with me. I was originally approved for benefit as a child back in 2009. In 2011 my dad passed away and I was reviving survivors benefits up until 19. I then fillied for both ssi and disabled adult child under my fathers record. On the date of my hearing the Judge asked the VE if I could do any work full time she named 3. But when the judge got to the third hypothetical about me being off task and missing 3+ days of work would I be employable she said I wouldn't be employable. Is her saying no to jobs at the third Hypothetical bad?
Can anyone help me out? I had a hearing a couple of years ago with a judge and I appealed the decision to the appeals council since it was denied...to make a long story short, it was sent back to the same AOL judge in January for a new hearing...to this date I still haven't heard a thing and they told me I should/would hear something within 90 days...can anyone help me out? The last time I called the hearings office, my lawyer wasn't too happy by me doing that so I keep calling the main SSI number that is toll free and they don't have any information either.
If an adult child, who is temporarily not working, had to move back in with his parents after he applied for disability, does that make him INELIGIBLE for SSD?
Does he have to show that he lives independently?
I am still waiting to be scheduled for a hearing, but I received in the mail an authorization to release medical records, a form about the prescription that I am taking, and the names of my doctors and my employment for the past 15 years. Does this mean that they are doing an On-The-Record Review with my case?
This has been going on since 5/1/2014 longer than most shorter than some. Got a letter on 3/16/2017 saying in reviewing the case for hearing they were able to make a "fully favorable" decision. They have not yet determined the non-medical part yet but will work to do that soon. (I am sure it helped my case I turned 50 last Nov)
Now I find out today I a scheduled for a phone interview on 4/10/2017 what is the phone interview for?
My AJL Hearing was scheduled for 3-29-17 at 1pm. On the morning of 3-29-2017 @ 9:45am, my Attorney called stating that my hearing just got postponed.
This is what it says online about my case. Any insight or suggestions?? I'm struggling here.
