I've been diagnosed with major depressive disorder and borderline personality disorder for about 20 years. I don't have medical documentation throughout the entire time, but I have been seeing a psychiatrist since Sept of last year. Last year in February I was diagnosed with a condition causing me to have to have a hysterectomy (after trying for many years to get pregnant.) I lost it after that. I got depressed enough to cancel the hysterectomy, even though doing so could have killed me. I eventually rescheduled and had the surgery in May.
I am currently single and will be 56 in April. I am engaged to be married in March. Will my benefit change based on my getting married and an additional income coming into the household?
can you apply for ssd if u own a business
can I qualify for disability if I have COPD? On my last Job I had bad alleries problems everyday at work. I dont know if it was the job or me. I couldnt be in hot weather to long without having breathing problems. Fumes & air pollution and smells bother me. I take an inhaler with steriods twice daily, I also have sleep apnea, along with high blood pressure. I lost my job four months ago. So my question is can I qualify for disability?
I just recieved my first Disability SSI check in the mail one month ago. I am outside the US visiting a friend and will not be back for a few months. What can I do about the checks I recieve in the mail? My grandma wont sign them and says all I can do is forfeit them. She thinks it is illegal to be outside the US. What can I do?
Can someone in my family sign it for me. Can I still recieve if I am outside of the US?
Thanks

would I still be able to qualify if I owe back taxes and child support?
heartatack, high blood presure, dibetict, arthuitics
Kidney Failure
Cerebral Palsy / Minor Muscle Delay
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
Manic Depression
Spastic Kidney Disease
Chronic Pelvic Pain
Renal and Bladder Reflex Disease
Nerve Damage, Bladder Spasms
Panic Attacks
Allergy Asthma
These are current medical conditions I have that I can list off the top of my head. I am not sure about Cerebral Palsy, I still have minor muscle delay in my left leg and am not sure if that still qualifies as Cerebral Palsy, does it? All of the above listed are in my medical records and are not self-diagnosis.
my husband received $248.00 a month and I his wife have been laid off since June of 2011. Can he qualify for a higher amount?
