WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANY BENEFITS FOR FAMILY MEMBER (DAUGHTER) TO GET BENEFITS FOR TRANSPORTING MOTHER TO AN FROM DR APPT MOTHHLY OR EVEN TO STAY HOME WITH HER PART TIME. SHE HAS ARTHRIST BAD AND CANT DO A LOT OF THINGS FOR HERSELF. I WANT HER TO STAY HOME WHERE I CAN LOOK AFTER HER, BUT I NEED TO WORK, BUT SHE WANTS ME TO STAY HOME WITH HER AT LEAST 3-4 DAYS A WEEK. IS THERE ANY HELP OUT THERE FOR ME
I recently moved into an assisted living facility due to my disability. I need the income from the rental of my house, and my SSDI benefits to pay for the assisted living. Am i going to lose my SSDI? What is the threshold for earnings from a rental to stay on SSDI?
My father is disabled and has been recieving Social Security for 25 yrs. he has had custody of my child for about 6 yrs. can he recieve extra benefits for him? What is the difference if he has legal custoday or has adopted? I mean seriously he pays for everything for his grandchild and they are very poor, how can he get the help he needs?
I was injured in 2002 with a head and neck injury and haven't been able to hold a job for more that a couple of days since. I have just started seeing a doc to help with pain again after 3 yrs without one. In 2007 I was given a settlement and told I was 50% disabled by the Maryland Workman's Comp Commission.
